Meet John Heidtke
ABOUT THE AUTHOR

John Heidtke lives in Port Huron,
Michigan and often vacations in the
Upper Peninsula where he enjoys
frequent visits to the Keweenaw. He is
apt to explore ghost towns and
abandoned mining camps.

A clinical therapist, John facilitates
workshops for teens and adults.  He
has over 30 years experience with
public presentations covering a variety
of substance abuse prevention and
other mental health topics.  He also
conducts writing seminars for budding
authors.  

John is an active member in the
following associations: The Association
for Children's Mental Heath, National
Association for Children of Alcoholics,
Golf Association of Michigan and the
United States Golf Association. He is
an avid golfer.
