Our Story

On September 13, 2009, it was discovered that Randy Buscher had a tumor on his brain. It was later revealed that his physical challenges would be even more extensive. Randy and Peggy acknowledge and serve a living God who is both good and compassionate. They have chosen to hide under the shelter of His wing, where in Malachi it states there is healing:

“The sun of righteousness will dawn on those who honor my name, healing radiating from its wing.” (Malachi 4:2)

Peggy's Update

HERE'S WHAT WE KNOW. LUNG BIOPSY IS NEEDED TO DETERMINE THE TYPE OF CANCER. IF THEY CAN'T GO INTO LUNG BECAUSE CANCER IS IMBEDDED IN TOO FAR THEN PLAN B IS TO GO INTO BRAIN . IF THAT IS THE CASE, THEY WILL TAKE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE OF IT OUT WHILE IN THERE THEN BIOPSY. THEN THEY WILL DETERMINE FURTHER TREATMENT FROM THERE. THE LIVER IS " MORE THAN LIKELY CANCEROUS" TOO BUT THE SPOTS ARE TOO SMALL TO DETERMINE WITH BIOPSY.

Prayer Points:

WE NEED THE LUNG TO BE ABLE TO BE BIOPSIED. HE IS HAVING SPELLS, "COLLAPSE" IS THE BEST WAY I CAN DESCRIBE THEM. I AM NOT ABLE TO LEAVE HIM ALONE AS HE DOESN'T KNOW WHEN ONE WILL COME. USUALLY, HE IS IN FINE ENOUGH SPIRITS, ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN  HE DOESN'T HAVE HIS MOMENTS. WE ARE WANTING A MIRACLE, BUT HAVE SURRENDERD IT ALL TO THE LORD. WE HAVE HIS ASSURANCE IT WILL BE OKAY. WE'VE BEEN TOLD TO REST, WAIT PATIENTLY AND LET THE LORD DO HIS WORK THROUGH US. WE LOOK FORWARD TO WHOEVER THE LORD PUTS IN OUR PATH TO HELP US WHEN WE ARE OVERWHELMED WITH IT ALL.
