This book is a collection of autobiographical essays written over a period of a number of years. There is no connecting theme to the essays, nor any sequential order a common thread is the easy reading style of Case and his subtle humor which is generously woven throughout.

In this work, Case’s writings are reflections, memories and observations regarding his experiences with church, family, and community. They also also provide an accurate and enlightening history of the midwest and culture during the time period of the mid to late 20th century.
