About the Book/Author(s):
Making Words Count” is a collaboration with teachers and students in writing workshops that inspire, instruct, and motivate creativity. This year long project involves a four-phase program:
Phase 1: Young Author’s Day at Barnes and Noble Booksellers, Saginaw, MI, which includes workshops and book signings
Phase 2: Writing Workshops, writer’s contest
Phase 3: The Making of a Book: The Publishing Process
Phase 4: Community Outreach: Recognition and acknowledgement of author’s work and the publication of this book.
